The Church Of Pentecost Builds And Donates Ultra-Modern Prison Facility To Ghana Prison Service
The Church of Pentecost has built an ultra-modern prison facility for the Ghana Prisons Service at Ejura.
The three-million-ghana-cedi project, the first of four such correctional facilities to be completed by 2023 across the country, is aimed at improving the congestion in already existing facilities in the country and helping to facilitate a more reformative approach to handling of prisoners in Ghana’s criminal justice system.
During the handing over of said facility, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, explaining why the Church decided to embark on such a project quoted Hebrews 13:3:
“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering”.
